Blazon Domnesc – Sarba

Șarba is a Romanian white grape variety obtained by crossing two grape varieties: Tămâioasa Românească and Italian Riesling.
The name of this variety is inspired by Culmea Șarbei, the highest place in the region that provides a splendid panorama.
Sarba has a rather intense, somewhat bizarre aroma, suggesting the smell of sweet roses. This flavor is best highlighted when the wines contain a residual sugar. The aromatic tones displayed are reminiscent of grapefruit, honey and acacia flowers and are accompanied by small twists of acidity (apples and green apricots) with a citrus finish, slightly sweet.
It is recommended to accompany fresh cheeses, fish dishes, seafood and white meat.
