Cabernet Sauvignon is one of the most recognized varieties of red wine in the world. In the past, his reputation has been given by his ability to significantly improve his qualities through aging. Thus, other shades such as cedar, violet, leather or tobacco are added to its distinct aroma of black raisins, while the intense aroma of tannin is tempered.
The intensity of this wine has the potential to eclipse the taste of more delicate dishes. It is therefore recommended in combination with red meat, steaks, fatty foods, goose, duck breast, lamb, pasta with sauce, mussels, cheeses such as Mozzarella, Cedar and Brie, bitter vegetable salads, dishes with concentrated tomato sauce and bitter dark chocolate.
